  • Dylan Brennan is a 17 year-old author from the UK. An avid reader, student and musician, Dylan's first proper break into the writing world was his epic fantasy novel 'Noble: Betrayed', which explored all sorts of real-world issues in a sprawling medieval landscape with a plethora of dynamic characters. Since then, alongside writing his next novel, the tragic 'Master Misfortune', he has delved into delicacies of the universe of poetry. He has been reading poetry since his age was a single digit and has maintained an active interest. Dylan's poetic process is as diverse as his interests, with each poem beginning with a single line that takes root in his mind and growing into something substantial and thought-provoking. His inspirations emerge from the peculiarities of life and humanity, whether gleaned from headlines or drawn from personal experience, be they his own or those of friends and relatives. To connect with his creative endeavours, you can find Dylan on social media under the handle @elbrennan51 on Instagram and TikTok, as well as 'The Works of Dylan Brennan' on Facebook.

  • For as long as she can remember, she has liked writing. She has liked writing about the events in her life. Even if they are sad, frustrating, stressful, or happy, she has written. She has written whatever she can think of. She used to write plays, putting them on for her family and friends. everyone would applaud her for her writing and her creativity.

That girl is living. She may not be living the life she wants, but she is writing about it in the present moment.

That girl is me. I’ve always liked writing, and I always will. Writing has created an escape for me, letting me weasel my way out of the things I face and have faced. I was taught that by her––the younger me; she taught me that it was okay to fear, to be sad, or angry. She told me it was okay, that if I wrote enough, I could escape. And she is right.

That is what poetry is for me: an escape from a world that is burning––to another world that is beautiful and reads perfectly.

  • Howdy, hey, hi! My name is Oli, I’m a chronically ill, 16 year old, Italian-American, with a huge passion for writing. I’ve been into poetry and storytelling ever since I was a little boy! I’m a very passionate person, and I love to show that through my writing. Things like love, limerence, and even heavy topics like gore are mainly my favorite. I plan on one day soon, (most likely with in the next year), to publish some of my own poetry. So, if you love my work you can find me at @chestpainpoetry on almost everything! Keep your head up high and love enjoying life, the more we take it for granted, the more we lose ourselves.
